Frequently asked questions

Is it free to use?

Yes. It is free, with no sign-up.

Are my files or text uploaded?

No. This tool runs in your browser, so your files are processed on your own device and are never uploaded to our servers.

What can I change?

Dimensions (by pixels, percentage or a ready-made size such as an Instagram post), how the picture fits a new shape (stretch, fit with bars, or fill and crop), rotation and flips, the format (JPG, PNG, WebP), the quality, and an optional maximum file size.

Can I make a picture smaller in KB?

Yes. Tick "Limit file size to" and enter, for example, 200 KB. The tool lowers the quality, and if needed the dimensions a little, until the file fits. PNG can't be shrunk by quality, so it is saved as WebP in that case.
