Phone Cleaner Privacy Policy
Developer: RB Apps ยท Effective 2 October 2026
Phone Cleaner ("the app") helps you see what is using storage on your Android device and remove what you no longer need. In short: everything the app looks at stays on your device. Your files, app list and storage details are never uploaded or shared. The app shows ads from Google AdMob, which processes some device data as described below.
What the app accesses, and why
- Device storage totals: to show how much space is used and free.
- Usage access (only if you turn it on in Android Settings): to read how much space each installed app uses (app size, cache and data). This information is only shown to you on screen. The app does not read your app usage history, and nothing is sent anywhere.
- List of installed apps: to show each app's name, icon and size so you can open its App Info page or uninstall it.
- Photos, videos and audio (only when you start a junk scan, and only if you allow it): to find large files over 20 MB so you can choose which ones to delete. The app reads only the file name and size to build the list. It does not view, copy, analyse or upload the contents of your files.
Deleting files and apps
Files are deleted only after you select them and confirm in Android's own deletion dialog. Apps are uninstalled only through Android's uninstall screen. Clearing another app's cache happens in that app's Android Settings page, where you tap Clear Cache yourself.
Advertising (Google AdMob)
The app is free and shows ads (banners and occasional full-screen ads) served by Google AdMob. To serve and measure ads, the Google Mobile Ads SDK may collect and process device information such as your advertising ID, IP address, approximate location derived from it, device model and OS, and how you interact with ads. This data is handled by Google under the Google Privacy Policy; see also How Google uses information from apps that use its services. The developer does not receive any of this personal data.
If you are in the European Economic Area, the UK or Switzerland, the app asks for your consent before personalised ads are shown, and you can change your choice at any time from the app's Ad privacy choices option. Anywhere, you can reset or delete your advertising ID, or opt out of personalised ads, in Android Settings > Privacy > Ads (or Google > Ads).
No accounts or analytics
The app has no sign-in and includes no analytics or crash-reporting SDKs. It uses the internet only to load ads; your files, app list and storage information are never sent anywhere.
Data storage
The app does not keep a copy of your file list or app list. Results are produced on demand each time you open a screen or scan, and disappear when the app is closed.
Children
The app is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from anyone.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
