Smart Teleprompter — Data Deletion

How to delete your data

Effective September 7, 2026 · Publisher RB Apps

The short version

Smart Teleprompter stores your saved scripts only on your own device — we don't hold a copy anywhere. That means deleting your data is entirely in your hands, instantly, with no request or waiting period needed.

Delete individual scripts

  1. Open Smart Teleprompter.
  2. Find the script you want to remove under "Saved Texts" on the home screen.
  3. Tap Delete on that entry, then confirm.

The script is removed immediately from the app's storage — this action can't be undone from within the app.

Delete everything at once

  1. Long-press the Smart Teleprompter icon, or go to Android Settings → Apps → Smart Teleprompter.
  2. Tap Uninstall.

Uninstalling deletes every script and setting the app stored, since Android wipes an app's private storage the moment it's removed.

Note: if you'd rather keep the app installed but clear its data instead, use Settings → Apps → Smart Teleprompter → Storage → Clear storage. This has the same effect as uninstalling, without removing the app itself.

What we don't retain at all

When you use Voice Tracking mode, your microphone audio is sent to Google's speech-recognition service in real time so the script can follow along as you speak. Smart Teleprompter never stores that audio — it exists only for the moment it takes to be recognized, and there is nothing on our end to request deletion of.
